Stage 1 MMR Accreditation


Medication Management Review (MMR) Accredited Pharmacists play a vital role in supporting patients and the quality use of their medications in the community or aged care environment.


Stage 1 MMR Accreditation is available to provisional and registered pharmacists who are interested in starting their journey into becoming accredited to conduct Medication Management Reviews, including Home Medicine Reviews (HMR) and Residential Medication Management Reviews (RMMRs).


The NSW Branch’s course is uniquely blended, consisting of self-paced online learning modules followed by a one day practical-focused workshop.

Pharmacy Guild Immunisation Course


The Pharmacy Guild Immunisation Course is a recognised and accredited vaccination training course for pharmacists to provide vaccination services to the community. This training is a recognised and approved training course for provisional and registered pharmacists only.


This blended course outlines the regulatory requirements which mandate the provision of immunisation services within pharmacy as well as the knowledge and resources necessary to support immunisation services. This is followed by a one-day face-to-face workshop, providing practical-skill based learning and training in safe injection techniques.

Provide CPR and Provide First Aid Courses


HLTAID009 Provide CPR and HLTAID011 Provide First Aid training courses outline the knowledge and skills necessary to perform first aid response, life support and management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders until the arrival of medical or other assistance.


Both Provide CPR and Provide First Aid consists of a blended format, consisting of self-paced Online Learning Modules (via GuildED account) followed by a practical face-to-face workshop. The online learning modules must be successfully completed prior to attending the practical workshop.


From 1 June 2022, Provide CPR must be renewed every 12 months and Provide First Aid (which is inclusive of Provide CPR) must be renewed every 3 years.
